Edward Pastenak, COO
Canova Electric is in the business of designing and installing electrical systems to meet the needs of its clients. While focusing much of its attention on controlled growth, the construction operations department strives to achieve performance excellence and profitability on every project.
Chief Operating Officer Edward Pasternak leads the Canova team in meeting company and client project goals. Ed evaluates and maintains standard design and bid procedures for all projects. He is personally responsible for reviewing all design and bid packages prepared for clients. Ed’s primary responsibilities are management, training, and profitability. He believes that controlled growth results from having well trained project managers and field personnel. The challenge is discovering the expertise of each project manager he coordinates.

Ed has a reputation in the industry for his attention to detail and his understanding of the business of building projects. His commitment to training has keyed his success. Completing his training at Technician Training School, Ed has continued his education by attending numerous business management courses. Over the past 15 years, he has worked for some of the best electrical contractors in the state and gained experience ranging from commercial buildings and heavy industrial plants to substations. He has designed and managed high profile projects for the Children’s Hospital satellite facilities and United States Steel.
Edward Pasternak works diligently to meet every client’s project requirements using the most cost-effective means available. He is truly a seasoned and proven leader.
